This riverside trad session in the middle of town is definitely the vibe for spring
It’s that time of year.
The daffodils are peeping through, the snowdrops are bowing and this weekend, the distant melodies from a riverside trad session will be floating down the Lee.
Starting in this month, our music-loving friends over at Myo Café are hosting a bi-monthly trad session on their cosy premises, to the delight of locals and songful seagulls alike. It’s a bit of toe-tappin’, caffeine-fuelled fun of a Sunday.
“Announcing…SPRING FORWARD Sunday Sessions. Our fortnightly Trad session, fronted by Hughie Kennedy and featuring amazing musicians such as Conor O’Sullivan and Michael Meade. Hop skip and dance your way down to the quays for a bitta craic agus ceoil!” said the café crew on Instagram.
