Swap and shop guilt-free at the Sustainable Fashion Fair this weekend

Need a few bits for your summer wardrobe?
If you’d like to keep your seasonal shopping splurge ethical then there’s an excellent reason to hit the Black Market this weekend.
A Sustainable Fashion Fair is running all day at the Monahan Road venue, with vintage stalls setting up from 11am on Saturday morning so you can hunt for treasures over SOMA coffee.
You can bring along some picks from your own collection to trade for something fabulous at the Clothes Swap, now popping up at the venue on the first Saturday of every month from 11am to 1pm – no cash necessary.

If you need a little inspiration on how to turn your finds into statement pieces or how to give your own wardrobe staples a new look, hang around for the Upcycling Demonstration too.
There’ll be live music and a photo booth running all day so the atmosphere will be buzzy and proceeds from a raffle (with some top notch prizes) will go towards the Seal Rescue Centre.
The Sustainable Fashion Fair runs from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, May 7th at The Black Market on Monahan Road, Ballintemple.
