Several paintings by West Cork artist John Kingerlee donated to Art Auction Ukraine

These are special indeed.
Acclaimed West Cork artist John Kingerlee will see several of his paintings go under the hammer this week at an online auction to raise funds for the UNICEF Ukrainian refugee appeal.
A collection of abstract works by the 86-year-old Beara-based artist are up for grabs in the online Art Auction Ukraine, by kind donation of artistic patron, Laurence Powell.
The event, organised by leading cross border Irish art gallery and culture hub, Hambly and Hambly, will see work by 40 Irish, Northern Irish, Ukrainian and Polish artists presented for sale at reduced prices until bidding closes at midnight on Tuesday, April 5th.

The event sees Kingerlee’s fellow internationally acclaimed Irish artists including Philip Flanagan, Laurence O’Toole, Michelle Boyle and Eamon Colman uniting with the aim of contributing something meaningful to the humanitarian support effort through art.
Hambly & Hambly are curating and hosting the auction free of charge and a minimum of 50% of the sale price of each artwork will be donated directly to the Unicef Ukrainian refugee appeal.
