The luck of the rebels.

The National Lottery is waiting for two winning EuroMillions players from Cork to come forward after a freak double-win on Friday night.

Last week’s draw included the new ‘100 millionaires’ raffle draw, and while it didn’t create 100 new Irish millionaires, Cork is now €2million richer.

Nobody has come forward to claim the prize money just yet, but we do know that the winning raffle tickets were sold in Healy’s Supervalu in Dunmanway, and Minihane’s Gala in Clonakilty, respectively — two parishes that are little more than 20km apart. A third winning millionaire raffle ticket was sold in Galway.

The winning codes were: IMDZ91577, IMFC21006 and IMFF48547 — so if you’re a player from Dunmanway or Clonakilty, you might want to get checking.

The €26,158,375 jackpot went without a winner again, ensuring a rollover and a continuation of the lottery fever that has been gripping Ireland lately.
