It’s officially Christmas in Douglas.

And if you’re looking for some inspiration before you get ready to deck the halls for Santa’s arrival, you can find it all in one destination between now and Christmas Eve.

Boutique decor Mecca Interiosity has been treated to its annual festive makeover, with the in-house team of design elves pulling out all the stops to turn every nook and cranny of the store into a seasonal sensation.

Inside you’ll find ski-inspired table textiles, Christmas tableware, runners and napkins, and luxurious French finds adorned with delicate snowflake embroidery… not forgetting the all-important luxury Christmas crackers.

There are four fabulous trends to check out, so if your wreaths are looking a little wilted or your baubles have lost their shine, this is the place to do some research before planning your new look.

Here’s a guide to the four themes you can check out in-store (or shop online) for 2021:

1. A Traditional Christmas

This vintage-inspired collection of pieces evokes a nostalgic Christmas. A mix of reds and forest greens, distressed metal decorations, and lots of lovely berries and foliage, it’ll bring back memories of childhood Christmases past.

2. The Blush Pink Christmas Collection

Want to wow your visitors this year? This bold look boasts lots of big blooming pale pink flowers, encrusted pink baubles, golden Christmas trees and copper accents. Just the thing for decorators keen to make a glam statement.

3. The Chalet Christmas Collection

Dreaming of a Christmas near the slopes? This collection will give you major apres ski vibes, with tall snowy trees, lots of cosy faux fur, Scandi gnomes, lanterns, and wooden decorations.

Pop on a pot of hot chocolate and light the fire; it doesn’t get more romantic than this.

4. The Starlight Christmas Collection

If it’s gorgeous glistening stars, mottled glass ornaments, and tons of twinkly lights you’re after, this is the collection for you. Interiosity’s ‘Starlight’ range will ensure that every corner of your home is glowing throughout December.

Drop by and see the magic for yourself this Christmas from Monday to Sunday (10am – 5.30pm) at Interiosity, 19 St. Patrick’s Woollen Mills, Douglas, Cork or shop now online at interiosity.ie.
