It’s their own ‘ode to Cork’.

Local pie slingers Oak Fire Pizza have created their first-ever sweet pizza to mark Deliveroo’s sixth birthday and it’ll be available exclusively from the delivery company this weekend.

Corkonians can chow down on the truly patriotic dish, which consists of a scrumptious dough base smothered in a lush hazelnut cream, topped with fresh cream, white chocolate chips and flaked almonds on one side, and strawberries on the other.

Yum.

“Deliveroo has helped us and hundreds of other restaurants from across Cork reach its customers, especially during pandemic. So, we jumped at the chance to help them celebrate six years in the Rebel County.” said Sarah Loane, Operations Manager, Oak Fire Pizza.

“The Rebel Pizza’ is an ode to Cork. Happy Birthday Roo!”

The Rebel Pizza (€7) is available from Friday, October 15th until Sunday, October 17th via Deliveroo from Oak Fire Pizza’s Gillabbey Street store.
