Dwyers Garden Café has re-opened on Forge Hill with an all new menu from 9am

Brought to you by Dwyers Garden Café.
The Cork lunch and brunch scene is alive again.
And it’s a good thing too; we’ve never been so eager to ditch the tinfoil-wrapped sangers in favour of a delicious midweek meal and an in-person catch-up with a mate.
With plenty of parking and a super convenient location on Forge Hill, The Garden Café has now reopened for breakfast, brunch and lunch at Dwyers Electrical Super Store.
First things first; the popular eatery is now under new management (Ed O’Leary of The Good Room and Live at St Luke’s is at the helm), and coffee is by Red Strand, roasted in Clonakilty.
Breakfast is served from 9am to 12pm, with lunch available from noon until 4pm (last orders at 3:45pm). An all-day weekend brunch is on the cards too with details set to be revealed in the coming weeks.

The all-new menu includes a granola sundae with organic yoghurt and house berry compote and smashed avocado on toast for the early birds (there’s a hefty breakfast bap too, with sausage, rasher, pudding and egg, all piled into a fresh Waterford blaa).
And if it’s sandwiches you’re craving, you’ve come to the right place: the Dwyers Garden Café chefs will whip you up anything from a classic toasted special or a simple chicken or tuna salad sandwich to a New York-style Reuben or a BLT on Arbutus sourdough.

The Ballycotton seafood chowder is served with Irish soda bread for dipping and there’s a mouthwatering list of summer salads, quiches and soups made fresh daily too.
Our tip? Order a portion of the sweet potato fries with curried yoghurt dip to share and don’t miss the lush desserts.
