The Circus Factory is hosting some ‘Pure Daycent Chats’ at the Douglas Street Parklet

How do you feel about where you live?
That’s one of the questions the Circus Factory will be asking locals on Douglas Street this September as part of the opening event for the fourth Pitch’d Circus & Street Arts Festival 2021.
The theme for this year’s festival, which runs from September 2nd to 26th, 2021, is ‘Art RefracTed: let’s imagine what art, culture, festivals, and gatherings look like now, and in the future’.
At the opening event, Pure Daycent Chats (September 2nd to 5th, and 9th to 12th) they are inviting the public to join them at the Douglas Street Parklet by the Cork Flower Studio for a cuppa and a chat about the streets of Cork and how you see them looking in 100 years.
Other topics will include funny stories and unique Cork expressions.
With a programme of events designed to provide heaps of family fun (try hula hooping or stand in awe at an acrobat flipping and tumbling) you can find out more about Pitch’d 2021 at circusfactorycork.com.
