In Watergrasshill, a well-known gastropub is launching an outdoor summer cabaret tent

Roll up, roll up…

A brand new series of live music and comedy events is set to take place outdoors in the beautiful surroundings of O’Mahony’s pub and restaurant in  Watergrasshill.

The Good Room will be staging 21 shows in O’Mahony’s atmospheric open-air tented courtyard from July 29th to September 10th, 2021.

The lineup includes The Frank and Walters, Lisa Hannigan, Paul Noonan, Neil Delamare, Stephanie Rainey, John Spillane, Greenshine, Bernard Casey, Sinead Quinlan, Jerry Fish with many more gracing the stage from kick-off over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Only 100 lucky patrons per show will be able to attend these fully seated events, with socially distanced tables for groups of four and six available and a dinner menu served before live shows from Thursday – Saturday from 5pm and Sunday from 12.30pm.

“We always wanted to hold live events here at O’Mahony’s and we’re really excited about bringing as much fun and magic as possible to the people of Watergrasshill, the wider Cork area and further afield,” said O’Mahony’s proprietor, Victor Murphy.

“We can’t wait to welcome audiences through our doors over the August bank holiday weekend and I think these music, comedy and cabaret shows are going to be really magical and emotional for Cork audiences who have been starved of live experiences for so long.”

Tickets for the shows, supported by the Live Performance Support Scheme from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, are available now from €60 for a four-person table here.
