Online vaccine registration for 40-44 age bracket opens TODAY

Great news on the vaccination front.
Ireland’s fight against coronavirus will get a major shot in the arm today (pun very much intended), as those between the ages of 40 and 44 are invited to register for their vaccine this week.
Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly confirmed that the rollout would be expanded, beginning today: “Delighted to be able to share that the online registration for a COVID-19 vaccine for those aged 40-44 will commence this Wednesday, June 02 – starting with those aged 44 that day and those aged 43 on Thursday and so on.”
If you’re 44, you can book your vaccine right now on this page.
Let’s face it, if you’re 44, you’ve probably never woken up and thought ‘YES, I’m 44!’

By Sunday, everybody over the age of 40 will be able to register for their first shot.
The opening of the online portal follows further good news regarding vaccinations, as Pfizer announced it had approved a new manufacturing plant in Belgium, that would result in a “significant and immediate” increase in the supply of vaccines for EU countries.
So far, Ireland has administered a total of 2.3million vaccinations.
