If every leafy lovely you bring home ends up a droopy, wilted mess, a Cork florist is volunteering to help you change your ways.

Bloomsday Flowers in Carrigtwohill is hosting a free talk and demonstration on how to care for green plants, succulents, and cacti on Monday, September 21st, 2020 at 6pm.

Guests will learn the basics of plant care (how much water is too much water?) and proper potting as well as how to choose the best plants for various spots in your home.

Numbers are limited (six people only with social distancing in place) so book your spot pronto if you want to go along. The class will take place at the Bloomsday Flowers base in the Eastlink Business Park, Main Street, Carrigtwohill and you can sign up via Eventbrite.

All participants will get 10% off all plants and accessories on the night too, so it’s a great excuse to support a local business while adding some lush greenery to your home.
