This adorable workshop will show kids how to build their own pop-up book

Fun meets learning in this clever weekend workshop.
This Saturday, September 5th, The Glucksman will be hosting a fun, one-hour book building class inspired by Le Monstre des Émotions by Anna Llenas, a French language book about colourful monsters.
“In this month’s Cover to Cover workshop for children (6-10yrs), we are taking inspiration from Anna Llenas’s beautiful illustrations and using the language of pop-ups to create our own colourful books.” said a spokesperson for the Glucksman.

“Participants will look at French words and their pronunciation, spell them and have fun creating a book with collage, one-colour-illustration and pop up elements.”
Each child will be provided with a Glucksman Creative Art Kit supplying them with all the materials they need.
The kit, which every child will take home at the end of the session, contains crayons, watercolours, white and coloured card, glue stick and a pencil, meaning they can carry on the book-building fun at home.
The Cover to Cover workshop is delivered in line with the Department of Children and Youth Affairs and HSE guidelines. The cost is €15 per child and booking is required by emailing education@glucksman.org, calling 021 4901844 or booking online here.
