We’re almost expecting it at this stage.

Hot on the heels of Storm Ellen and Storm Francis, Met Éireann has issued yet another Status Yellow weather warning this afternoon, with “intense and potentially thundery downpours” expected on Wednesday night, Thursday and Thursday night.

Marvellous.

The Rainfall warning covers Munster, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow and Offaly, where road users have been advised to be aware of localised flooding.

“Given recent heavy rainfall, this will further elevate river levels and may result in river flooding also.” said forecasters.

The latest warning is valid from 1am on Thursday, August 27th until 1am on Friday, August 28th.

In better news, the forecast is looking dry for the weekend, with highest temperatures ranging between 14 to 16 degrees,
