These gorgeous grazing boxes and picnics are fresh from Niamh’s Larder

By Katie Mythen-Lynch August 18, 2020August 18, 2020

Planning a day trip this week?

If you’re looking for a way to make it special, there’s a brand new East Cork business that will pack you up a memorable meal to enjoy on your adventures.

Provided you’re within 15km of Cloyne Village, they’ll even deliver your order to the beach.

Niamh’s Larder, run by Niamh Hegarty, creates luxury picnics and grazing boxes using fresh, local and organic ingredients – all beautifully arranged for an Instagram-tastic feast.

The service operates seven days a week with orders placed 48 hours before pick-up.

There are four delicious boxes to choose from:

The Brunch Box

Priced according to your chosen items

Ideal for enjoying on the beach after a morning swim or yoga, this one is stuffed with healthy goodies such as overnight oats served with granola and mixed berries or an acai bowl, lemon and poppyseed loaf and a green smoothie.

The Grazing box

€28 for two

Make that alfresco date even more romantic with a grazing box to nibble on as you watch the sunset. Inside you’ll find a selection of Irish cheeses, crackers, homemade soda bread, fresh fruit, olives, hummus dip with crudité, homemade water kefir.

The Lunch Box

€35 for two

A selection of Irish cheeses, homemade soda bread and a fresh Mediterranean tart served with organic leaves and pickled cucumber, chocolate and raspberry tart and homemade berry and mint water kefir.

The Family Box

€65 for four

The perfect option to fuel a long day on the beach, the Family Box contains a generous selection of cheese scones, Buddha bowls for the grown-ups, pasta salad and sandwiches for the kids, healthy snacks and decadent homemade treats such as lemon shortbread, flapjacks and chocolate chip cookies. You also get homemade lemonade and water kefir.
