This is when we can expect the new Dean Cork hotel to open

We’ll all be ready for a party, that’s for sure.
With the country on Covid-19 lockdown until at least mid-April, we’ve taken to reminiscing about all the fun nights out and delicious dinners we took for granted only a few weeks ago.
But there’s some good news on the horizon; when all this is over and it’s safe to socialise again, we’ll have a brand new venue launch to look forward to.
The Dean Cork has teased an opening date for its Kent Railway Station hotel on its Instagram feed and it looks like it could be welcoming guests well before Christmas, possibly as early as August – provided we’re all out of lockdown by then.

“Opening in late 2020. Big bouncy beds. Sophie’s on the roof & much more.” the brand posted on its new Instagram feed, confirming a bar and restaurant with a view of Cork’s rapidly expanding skyline is in the works.
Precious little else has been revealed for now, but if the Cork instalment is anything like Sophie’s at The Dean Dublin, it could involve a rooftop bar, restaurant and rooftop terrace that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily with a popular brunch menu on the weekends.

The 109-bedroom hotel is also expected to feature The Dean Bar, Dime Coffee and a boutique gym and health club, Power Gym, all set for completion this year.
