Three London Fashion Week nail trends you can actually wear in the real world

It’s an instant update at your fingertips.
While you might need to remortgage your house to fill your wardrobe with key items from the London Fashion Week catwalks, the most accessible trends was spotted at the backstage stations of the most in-demand nail technicians.
If you love a classic nude shade, take your lead from Richard Quinn’s AW20 show, where each of the nude shades were specifically hand-picked on the day to perfectly compliment the model’s skin tone and nail bed tone.

CND Vinylux nudes such as Bouquet, Powder My Nose, Romantique and Satin Slippers were topped off with the CND™ Vinylux Gel-Like Effect Top Coat for added shine.
Pearl’s a winner
Red wine-soaked napkins and rotten fruit made up the hectic dinner setting for Dilara Findikoglu’s AW20 collection. Using CND, lead nail tech Sylvie Macmillan chose three key CND tones in a true white pearl, a golden pearl and a copper tone.
Sylvie and her team used CND Creative Play in Su-pearl-ative, Lost in Spice and Poppin’ Bubbly to adorn the model’s nails, in a look they themed “destructively expensive”.

Session manicurist Nickie-Rhodes Hill used CND Vinylux in varying shades of blood red, black and gold to compliment Pam Hogg’s horrifically brilliant works of art.
“The nail look was chosen to match the masks/headdresses worn by the models. The colours used were CND™ Vinylux in Blackpool, Oxblood and Bellini to mirror the almost corpse bride/gothic glamour/Halloween-esque look of the collection.” she said.

CND shades are available from €11.95 at lookfantastic.com. You can book a CND Shellac treatment at 5th Avenue on Oliver Plunkett Street, New York Nails and Puerto Banus Nails in Donnybrook.
