Mark International Women’s Day with a fun lunch for Cork entrepreneurs

This year’s theme is ‘Each for Equal’.
And on Friday, March 6th, a line-up of inspiring speakers will be calling on Cork business folk to work together and support each other at an International Women’s Day lunch in The Old Irish Whiskey Bar at The Bodega on Cornmarket Street.
“Equality is not just a women’s issue. It is a business issue, a community issue, a social and environmental issue, a cultural issue, and an economic and political issue.” says organiser Laura O’Connell, professional coach and founder of Cork Entrepreneurs Network.
Billed as ‘an informal, fun and thought-provoking gathering’, Laura has invited social media entrepreneur Samantha Kelly to speak on the day, which begins at 12pm (full lunch menu and tickets, €20, here).

Other speakers on the day will include CervicalCheck campaigner and Cork Person of the Year 2019, Stephen Teap and Carmel O’Keeffe, a business coach and founder of the not-for-profit Dress for Success in Cork.
The Cork Entrepreneurs Network panel will feature Joanna Dukkipatti of Good Day News Cork, Celia O’Grady of Nia Beauty, Mags Riordan of Bumblebee Farm and 17-year-old Leaving Cert student Hannah Gahan, who will be exhibiting her artwork and sculptures.
Everyone is welcome on the day so don’t be shy. The proceeds are going to local charities.
