Marks and Spencer’s has given us a sneak peek at their Valentine’s Day ‘Dine In’ deal for 2020 and it’s an absolute bargain.

For just €25 you can tuck into a starter, main course, side dish, and dessert for two, making for a bargain dinner à deux.

You also get a box of chocolates to give to your amour (or scoff by yourself at a later date) and choice of drinks, including red and white wine, rose, prosecco and the new ‘From Mojito to You’ cocktail, a passion fruit mojito containing edible 23-carat gold leaf.

If you’re planning a romantic night in for someone special, the menu includes super fancy Garlic Prawn Love Hearts (scallop shells filled with peeled Honduran king prawns with parsley, garlic herb butter heart) and Gastropub Butternut & Red Onion En-croutes (roasted butternut squash with caramelised red onions and spinach, wrapped in puff pastry topped with pumpkin and sunflower seeds).

Nuts About You Cheesecake (baked praline chocolate cheesecakes decorated with a milk chocolate heart and roasted hazelnuts) and Pink Panna Cotta both make an appearance on the dessert menu, alongside profiteroles, Billionaire Pots, and lemon slices.
