Here’s your post-Lorenzo weather outlook for the weekend

The weather warnings have expired… now what?
As Storm Lorenzo skips Cork for Kildare, Offaly, Westmeath, Galway, Mayo, Longford, Roscommon and Clare, the weekend forecast isn’t looking too bad on Leeside.
According to Met Éireann, a windy afternoon with rain or drizzle will clear to a dry evening and highest temperatures of between 16C and 19C. Tonight will be fresh as temperatures drop to around nine degrees.

Saturday will start out mainly dry and cloudy, but get the washing in before lunchtime – outbreaks of rain will be arriving early and turning heavy with the risk of spot flooding.
Here’s the good news; the clouds will clear on Saturday afternoon in time for some sunny spells and highest temperatures of up to 19 degrees. Sunday will be another dry day, so there’ll be plenty of opportunities to make the most of the good weather.
