Attention, dog lovers: Handsome boy seeks new bestie, country life

In the market for a new BFF?
If you live in the countryside, your perfect canine companion could be waiting for you at Cork Dog Action Welfare.
Bainne is an adorable white seven-month-old Akita/Malamute cross who is patiently waiting for his forever home.

A clever dog who adores playing outdoors with his favourite toy (an old plastic drinking bottle), Bainne learns new commands quickly, but he is scared of busy places, so a countryside home would be best for him.
“In the house he is a fun, energetic puppy and is fiercely loyal, but going outside is still taking a lot of coaxing – at the moment he would rather spend all of him time inside the house or in his own back garden.” say the DAWG team.
“The big city streets are just too hectic for this guy. He adores the company of other dogs and feels much safer going out for walks if he has a canine buddy.

“He would love to find his forever home, ideally with a canine brother or sister of his own.”
Bainne has been brought up with cats so he’ll be fine with your feline friends. He will grow to be a large dog however, so a big enclosed garden is a must.
“The perfect family for Bainne will have to have a lot of patience to win his trust but it will be so worth it – whoever welcomes Bainne in to their family will be very, very lucky.”
Do you have room in your country lifestyle for Bainne? If so, fill out an adoption form here.
