Did someone say FREE COFFEE?

The St Luke’s Inn is luring caffeine addicts to one of Cork’s coolest neighbourhoods next week with a lovely crowd-pleasing fundraiser.

To celebrate the arrival of their new coffee machine, St Luke’s Inn has teamed up with St Luke’s Welcomes to hand out all their espressos, americanos, lattes and cappuccinos free of charge from September 1st, 2019 until September 7th.

Instead of payment, customers can make a donation to St Luke’s Welcomes, a neighbourhood initiative to welcome a resettled refugee family.

The group is aiming to cover the expenses of a family moving to Ireland for the first time, providing a rental buffer before welfare supports are received; financial assistance with dentistry and healthcare supports; interpretation services; and more, depending on the family’s particular circumstances.

Get your daily brew from the pub on the Ballyhooly Road. Not in the area? You can chip in to help the effort here.
