From interiors inspiration to food ideas, we go to the ‘Gram for different things each time but sometimes, our feed can get a little stale and we end up mindlessly scrolling through the same accounts.

While they may have fewer followers, there are some Cork ladies bringing their A-game to Instagram who continue to brighten up our feed.

Not only is their backdrop similar to all of ours, they often highlight some Cork gems we didn’t even know about, all the while posting about their area of expertise, from beauty to baking.

1. Aisling Riordan @vintagehillcork 

Vintage enthusiast Aisling Riordan is the woman behind Vintage Hill Cork and uses her platform to highlight the beauty in pre-loved interiors items.

She also shares sneak peeks inside her stunning home, which is just bursting with personality.

2. Caitriona McGettigan @caitsymcg

Nineteen-year-old model Cait is fashion and beauty obsessed and her Instagram profile is the perfect example of that. She describes her style as ‘classic with a seductive edge’ and we’d have to agree.

Her feed is full of glam outfit pics as well as snaps from her travels around the globe.

3. Ms Cupcake Cork @mscupcakecork

Ms Cupcake Cork was founded by Ramune in 2013. The mum-of-two says she loves a challenge and can’t imagine life without arts, blooms and a slice of cake with her coffee every morning – a lifestyle we fully support.

She specialises in handmade cupcakes, cakes and desserts for weddings and other special occasions.

Be warned though – you will be running straight to the fridge for something sweet when you scroll across her creations.

4. Lauren Cummins @laurencumminsx

Lauren Cummins is the Instagram make-up artist who stands out among all the copper smokey eyes on our feed.

She’s currently using her creative skills at MAC but uses her own platform to express her own sense of style through her make-up, clothes and tattoos.

Cathy is the mastermind behind Flamingo Interior Design, which is responsible for transforming commercial and residential properties all over Cork and beyond.
