5 Cork pop-up markets where you can get supplies this weekend

Local producers are making it work.
With strict Covid-19 hygiene and social distancing protocols in place, many of Cork’s smaller businesses are changing the way they get their products to the customers that need them.
Here are five you can try this weekend:
Fresh bread, delivered to your car
Declan Ryan’s Arbutus Bakery will be running a pop-up shop from the bakery in the Mayfield Industrial Estate on Saturday, March 21st from 10am to 1pm. “Darragh will be on hand to drop your order to the car so as to adhere to social distancing.” the company posted on Twitter.
It’s a contactless service only and you can pre-order with Elaine on 086-3840651.
An honesty box at Joe’s Farm
At this Killeagh farm, customers can employ strict social distancing by collecting what vegetables (and tasty vegetable crisps) they need from the display popping money in the honesty box.

A mini-mart at Ali’s Kitchen
This Paul Street café is selling cakes and pastries by their in-house bakers, flowers from Cork Flower Studio and wines from L’Attitude 51 on Saturday, March 21st from 10am to 4pm.

An outlet for local producers at Menloe Stores
Swing by the Blackrock store for a decent choice of tasty bits to fill your cupboards with. “Some of the farmer’s markets may be temporarily closed but we are working with the farmers and small producers to keep our shelves stocked with your local favourites.” the shop Tweeted.
