1. The Bierhaus Quiz
The Bierhaus Quiz made its triumphant return to Pope’s Quay last month to a room full of delighted regulars. This one is known for its whacky rounds, with logo, silhouette, and emoji themes.
Pop into the craft beer bar from 8.30pm every Monday to catch the quizmaster in action.

2. An Brog
An Brog has one of the longest-running quiz nights in Cork and is always a raucous night out. Quizmaster Colm Lougheed runs this Monday night quiz at the Oliver Plunkett Street pub from 9pm and entry is free.

3. Gaia Quiz Night
The infamous Pat Ahern hosts this quiz in Gaia every Wednesday and it’s a very popular one with students. Pat hits the mic at 7pm but booking is advised if you want to guarantee your seat.

4. The Briar Rose Smartphone Quiz
This smartphone quiz is one for quick thinkers. To take part, all you have to do is download the app and fill in your guess. Cheaters, be warned; points are given for the fastest answers, there’s no revision time available and each question is timed.

5. The Woolshed Quiz
Over on the Mardyke, the Woolshed Quiz is hosted by ultimate-quizmaster-duo Pat Ahern and Colm Lougheed. The pair have been holding down the quizzical fort at The Woolshed since its inception in 2012 and recently marked their 10 year anniversary.
