It’s all part of a brand new food festival.
Cork on a Fork will take place in venues and streets across Cork City centre from August 17th-21st and tickets for the key event, a long table dinner for 200 on Princes Street, go on sale this week.
It’ll be fastest fingers first for seats at the Taste of Princes Street Dinner on opening night, which will see diners enjoy a formal long-table style dinner showcasing the range of quality local produce and the culinary offering on the street.
Tickets (€135 per person here) for this one include dinner, drinks and entertainment and will go on sale Thursday, August 4th at 9am.
Throughout the festival, locals and visitors alike will feast on the finest local food, take part in unique culinary experiences, discover the incredible range of local producers in the region, and enjoy the buzz of the city’s vibrant new outdoor dining and nightlife scene with food trails, tasting masterclasses, cooking demos, food talks, family fun and exciting night-time events.
Other special dinners include the ‘Show-Thyme’ jazz dinner event at Thyme at Seventy-Six on the Mall on Thursday evening (August 18th) and a one-off Cork on a Fork evening dining experience at The Bookshelf at the Elysian on Saturday night, August 20th.
