Two iconic films are coming to Fota House for a dreamy outdoor cinema weekend
Grab a blanket and get ready for two nights of classic cinema under the stars.
The Pop-Up Movie Club is returning to Fota House this September for two nights of outdoor cinema, with two seriously iconic films getting the big-screen treatment.
First up on Friday, September 4th is The Greatest Showman. Starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya, the musical favourite will kick off the weekend with all the big songs, big performances and plenty of opportunities for a bit of a singalong.
Then on Saturday, September 5th, it’s time to head back to Kellerman’s for one of the most beloved romances of all time – Dirty Dancing. Patrick Swayze. Jennifer Grey. That lift.
Both screenings will take place outdoors on the grounds of Fota House, with moviegoers encouraged to bring along their blankets, find a spot on the lawn and settle in for an evening of cinema under the late-summer sky.
It sounds like a pretty lovely way to spend a September weekend in Cork.
Tickets are available for both screenings through The Pop-Up Movie Club, with both events organised and ticketed by the club.
