Tarot, vintage and very good coffee: This city Summer Solstice fair is worth a wander

Sounds perfect, really.
If your ideal Saturday involves browsing vintage treasures with an oat flat white in hand, picking up a one-of-a-kind print from a local artist, and perhaps having your tarot cards read just for the craic, Urban Pantry has your midsummer plans sorted.
On Sunday, June 21st, the Fifth Quarter café (that’s the old Paul Street Shopping Centre, for those of you still resisting change) will host a Summer Solstice Fair, bringing together a colourful mix of local makers, artists, vintage sellers and creative small businesses for an afternoon that’s shaping up to be equal parts market, community gathering and celebration of the longest days of the year.
From handcrafted goods and original artwork to carefully sourced vintage pieces, the stalls will be packed with the kind of things you definitely don’t need but will absolutely convince yourself you do.
Bring the dog for a pup portrait
For those feeling a little mystical, tarot and oracle card readings will be available throughout the day — a fitting addition to a Summer Solstice gathering, whether you’re a committed crystal collector or simply curious about what the cards have to say.

The whole thing has a relaxed, neighbourhood feel, with visitors encouraged to linger over coffee and homemade treats while browsing the stalls and chatting to the people behind the products.
Even the dogs are invited. The fair is both family and dog-friendly, with a dedicated doggy photo area for anyone who believes their pet deserves a professional summer portrait.
The Summer Solstice Fair takes place at Urban Pantry from 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, June 21st, and admission is free.
