The city’s fashion quarter, now festooned with colourful butterflies, will be celebrating summer with a free afternoon of family-friendly entertainment on Sunday, June 14th, from 12pm to 3pm.
Alongside all the usual shopping opportunities, visitors can expect live music, face painting, balloon modelling and spot prizes throughout the afternoon, making it a handy way to keep little ones entertained while ticking a few things off the summer shopping list.

Whether you’re hunting for holiday outfits, treating yourself to a new-season purchase or simply looking for something fun to do in the city, the event promises a lively atmosphere right in the heart of Cork.
With schools nearly out, holidays on the horizon and hopefully a glimpse of summer weather somewhere in the forecast, it could be the perfect opportunity to make a day of it — grab a coffee, browse the shops, let the kids loose on the face painting and soak up a bit of weekend buzz in the city centre.
The free event takes place on Opera Lane from 12pm to 3pm on Sunday, June 14th.
