One of Cork’s coolest food pop-ups is back and ‘feral Irish figs’ are on the menu

People raved about the last one.
And it’ll be walk-ins only once again when a much-loved Cork food pop-up makes its return later this weekend, bringing wild Irish ingredients, East Asian flavours, and plenty of natural wine back to the city.
Low Intervention Sundays returns to L’atitude 51 on Union Quay, Cork City, on May 31st from 3pm to 8pm, with chefs Pádraig Nagle and Epi Rogan teaming up for an afternoon of seasonal small plates and laid-back dining.

The pop-up has built a bit of a cult following in Cork thanks to its mix of locally foraged ingredients, bold flavours, and relaxed atmosphere.
So what are we eating?
This latest edition lands right in the middle of coastal foraging season, meaning diners can expect plenty of seaweed, shoreline greens, florals, and even wild Irish figs making their way onto the menu.
Among the dishes lined up are char siu pork and beef-heart bulgogi with fried rice, alongside a rotating selection of seasonal plates designed around whatever’s fresh, wild, and available. Organisers say the idea behind Low Intervention Sundays is simple — good food, good wine, and great hospitality without any fuss.
“We’re delighted to be back for another Low Intervention Sunday with Bev and the gang!” Epi told Yay Cork.
“It’s peak coastal foraging season, so expect seaweed and shoreline greens in abundance, alongside LOTS of florals and even feral Irish figs making their way onto the menu.”
Stroll in from 3pm to 8pm on May 31st.
