Cork Brick Con is the only place to bring LEGO-obsessed kids this weekend

Clear the calendar, Cork families.
Cork Brick Con is back and it’s shaping up to be a cracking weekend out.
The second Cork Brick Con lands in the Marina Market this weekend, March 28th and 29th, bringing a full-blown LEGO fan convention to the heart of the city. And while there’ll be plenty to wow serious collectors, this one is very much a family affair.
Across the two days, young builders (and grown-up ones too) can dive into a packed line-up of interactive activities — from LEGO robotics and speed build challenges to carnival-style games, brick pits, gaming zones and creative workshops. There’s even a LEGO-themed art zone and a giant LEGO flower wall for that all-important family photo.
Everything is included in the ticket price, so once you’re in, the kids can explore to their hearts’ content.
One of the big highlights this year is the huge selection of custom displays created by talented builders from across Ireland. Expect large-scale dioramas including a giant Egyptian pyramid layout, epic Star Wars battle scenes and even a detailed recreation of Trim Castle — all built entirely from bricks.

Collectors will also be able to browse traders selling official LEGO sets and minifigures, making it a dangerous day out for anyone who can’t resist “just one more set”.
Importantly, the event is partnered with ASD Ireland, who will have their mobile sensory room on site to help ensure the weekend is accessible and socially inclusive for all attendees.
And let’s be honest — hosting it in the Marina Market means parents are sorted too. When little legs need a break, you’re perfectly placed to grab a proper lunch and a good coffee while the excitement continues around you.
If you’ve got a LEGO-obsessed youngster at home (or you’re one yourself), Cork Brick Con might just be the easiest way to keep everyone entertained for a few hours — and maybe spark a little creativity along the way.
