It’s become an annual favourite for many — and it’s back this weekend.

The much-loved Farran Woods Christmas Market is returning, with two festive dates lined up for locals to wander, browse and stock up on handmade treasures.

This year, Kevin O’Keeffe of Oinkies outdoor catering and Cloverhill Honey is stepping in as organiser, taking the reins from Aoife of Perked Up Coffee.

A fantastic lineup of artisan makers, bakers and craftspeople will be setting up shop this Saturday, December 13th, and Sunday, December 14th, with the market running from 10am to 4pm on both days.

If you’re looking to soak up some festive cheer — and maybe tick a few gifts off the list — this weekend’s the perfect time.

Entry to the park is €5 per car (card only, FYI). You can browse the stalls before an atmospheric walk in the forest – if the weather co-operates, it might be the perfect outdoorsy spin.
