Cork’s Imperial Hotel just dropped the sweetest ’25 Christmas ad

By Yay Cork December 4, 2025December 3, 2025

Brought to you by The Imperial Hotel.

This gave us ALL the Christmas feels.

Cork’s Imperial Hotel just dropped a delightful ‘Miracle on South Mall’ Christmas ad and it’ll make you want to pack a bag and plan a stay.

The magic, expertly created by Cork-based production company Dog Day Media, begins as a bearded gentleman strolls through the stunning lobby of the hotel from the South Mall, checking in under the name ‘Kringle’.

After unpacking a rather special outfit in his luxury guest room and relaxing with a fresh scone and a coffee, Mr Kringle hits The Escape Spa for a little rejuvenation, he puts his magic to good use by topping up cocktails for customers in Fitzgerald’s Bar.

Later, a staff member quizzes the mystery guest on his plans for Christmas Eve, revealing that he might have very important plans indeed.

“Creating the Miracle on South Mall campaign, and capturing its story on film, was a special experience for the entire team at the Imperial Hotel.” The Imperial Hotel’s Marketing Manager Lauren O’Dwyer told Yay Cork.

“Behind the scenes, there was so much laughter, collaboration, and genuine excitement. We wanted our video to showcase not just the Christmas magic guests see, but also the passion and people that make it happen.”

You can step into The Miracle on South Mall with the hotel’s Festive Afternoon Tea, a celebration of festive indulgence, timeless charm, and the joy of believing in a little Christmas magic. It’s available- Monday to Sunday (12pm to 3pm) at €45 per person. Call 021 4274040 to book your table.

Gift shopping this week? When you spend €300 or more on Imperial Hotel Gift Voucher, you will receive a complimentary €50 voucher. Purchase yours here.
