2026 is shaping up to be a summer of fun in Cork.

Bell X1, one of Ireland’s most enduring and acclaimed bands, is the latest act to confirm a date at Live at the Marquee this June, hot on the heels of news that Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts and Elvis Costello will play Musgrave Park (Virgin Media Park) on July 1st.

In more good news for music fans, Paul Weller, James Arthur and Christy Moore have also confirmed dates at the Marquee this summer.

Formed in 1999, Bell X1 have released eight studio albums, four of which have been nominated for the Choice Music Prize. Over the past two decades they have become somewhat of a national treasure and are recognised as one of Ireland’s most popular live acts.

The band has just started working on a new studio album with plans to release it in 2026.

This summer will see them play Limerick at King John’s Castle on Saturday, June 6th, Cork’s Live at the Marquee on June 19th, Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens on July 11th and Galway International Arts Festival on July 25th.

Tickets for 2026 live shows go on sale 10am, Friday, November 28th via bellx1.com/tour.
