Marina Market no-booze bar SAOR is hosting a day of tastings this weekend

The grand opening is this Saturday.
And Cork’s first dedicated non-alcoholic bar SAOR is planning a series of demonstrations and tastings to prove that social drinking doesn’t need to revolve around alcohol.
Founded by Steve Guiney, well-known in Cork’s beverage scene as co-founder of Original 7, SAØR was born out of a growing demand for more thoughtful, adult-style alcohol-free options. Guiney says the concept is “beyond a juice, beyond a mocktail,” designed for people who want great drinks without compromise.
So what’s on the menu? Here’s a sneak peek:
- Signature alcohol-free cocktails crafted with the same care as traditional mixes
- Non-alcoholic beers, including Irish craft options
- Thoughtfully selected alcohol-free wines and sparkling alternatives
- Zero-proof spirits designed to replicate botanicals and complexity
- Homemade lemonades and seasonal hot drinks
- A range of modern zero-alcohol beverages such as kombucha and kefir
To mark its official launch, SAØR will host a full day of tastings, demonstrations, and informal information sessions exploring the entire zero-proof menu.

Visitors can sample all of the above this Saturday, November 15th and guests will be able to meet the team, learn how alcohol-free wines and spirits are made, and discover the growing Irish producers behind many of the offerings.
Free samples will be available throughout the day, along with special cocktail promotions celebrating the launch.
