Local foodies are bringing the heat to Ballinspittle’s wholesome Winter Fair

Bring your biggest bag.
Ballinspittle’s Winter Fair returns on Sunday, November 30th, 2025, with some of the best local foodies and crafty folk setting up to sell a variety of exciting things to gift to yourself and others.
Running from 12pm to 6pm in the Ballinspittle Community Hall, traders this year will include chef Caitlin Ruth,
Karima Rebecca Powell, Kinsale Mead, Ceramics by Celia, On the Verge and Anna Roycroft, to name just a few.
“We will have a great selection of local artisans creating everything from beautiful sheepskins, to hot sauces, pottery, jewellery, original art, vintage clothing, wine for sale and more!” the organisers told us.
The whole affair will help pay for the village’s Christmas lights to be set a-twinkling in time for Santa’s arrival.

Chef Caitlin Ruth has been busy brewing up four new flavours of F I A S C O sauce, all made from organic, locally grown chilies from Narmada near Rosscarbery and available exclusively at the Ballinspittle Winter Fair.
“The Red One is the OG. The Green One: herby, spicy, deep. The Yellow One: Freshly Faintly Fenugreeky. The Purple One: Birria spices and slightly fruity.” the chef shared on Instagram.
We’ll be needing one of each to jazz up our Christmas leftovers.
