How about a Ghostly Samhain Funeral Walk through an eerie woodland?

You’ll be needing a torch for this one.
If you’re looking to add a real chill to your Halloween season, this one’s for you. On a dark autumn night in Leap, a brave few will set off into Bláth na Gréine (Myross Wood) in Leap for an eerie guided walk packed with ghostly tales, ancient Irish lore, and whispers from the “other crowd.”
This isn’t your average evening stroll — it’s a journey along the infamous Slí Sí, a path long associated with strange encounters and supernatural happenings.
Expect stories of restless spirits, Samhain traditions, and that spine-tingling sense that you might not be entirely alone in the woods.

With the veil between worlds at its thinnest, it’s the perfect time to step into the unknown… if you dare, and it’s all part of the Leap Scarecrow Festival.
Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your spot on this unforgettable night walk – it’s over 12s only and tickets for the 2.5hr experience are €13 here. The group meets at 7pm on Halloween Night outside The Leap Inn.
Remember to dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a torch or personal light — just in case things get a little too dark.
