Bronx Pizza is now serving classic jumbo New York slices on Princes Street

Stop in for a pre-game slice over the bank holiday.
Bronx Pizza is now open at No.24 Princes Street, serving up giant foldable €5 pizza slices and full pizza pies.
Also on the menu are some chunky NY-style cookies baked in-house (starting with triple chocolate and classic choc chip), with plans for a Bronx-branded lager to launch later this year.
The latest venture by the team behind the award-winning Oak Fire Pizza, one of the city’s most loved wood-fired pizzerias, Bronx Pizza channels the feel of a downtown NYC pizzeria complete with rustic decor, graffiti-style interiors, a Yankees baseball theme and a classic hip-hop soundtrack.

“We spent the last 15 years perfecting slow-fermented, wood-fired pizzas inspired by Naples,” says Andrew Loane, founder of both brands.
“But we wanted to build on what we started with our other pizzeria, Boxt, which we closed earlier this year. Rebranding and relocating felt like the right move, keeping the energy of the single slice alive, but with a stronger, more focussed concept for the city centre.”
“In New York, you can grab a single slice that’s as good as a whole pie and that’s the energy we want to bring to Cork. It’s New York attitude – fast, flavourful, and served by the slice.”
Bronx Pizza is now open daily from 12pm.
