Cliffords Centra is giving away the Cork’s EuroMillions winner’s favourite lunch
There’s no such thing as a free lunch.
Unless you happen to be up on Shandon Street tomorrow, when Clifford’s Centra will be handing out free sandwiches in honour of one very special customer.
Locals are invited to “Lunch Like a EuroMillionaire” this Tuesday, July 22nd, with free ham and cheese sambos for all (adults only) from 8am, just how Cork’s EuroMillions jackpot winner likes it.
The €250 million jackpot was claimed by a local family syndicate in Cork who captured the nation’s hearts by revealing they will still enjoy ham and cheese sambos for lunch and continue to stay grounded.

“We’ve been riding high on the excitement from the recent EuroMillions win.” said Simon Champ, Store Manager at Clifford’s Centra.
“When the National Lottery approached us with their plan to share some joy with locals, we jumped on the idea, it’s a great way to continue the celebrations here on Shandon Street.”
Free ham and cheese sambos will be available from 8am at Clifford’s Centra, Shandon Street, on Tuesday, July 22nd, while stocks last.
