One of Clonakilty’s best-loved coffee spots is moonlighting as a wine bar

It’s one of our favourite spots for a daytime brew.
Now Revel, one of Clonakilty’s most popular coffee shops, is adding some evening fun to the mix at the weekends on McCurtain Hill.
Revel will introduce Revelry, a pop-up natural wine evening, this Friday, July 4th for a one-night-only soft launch from 5pm until 9pm. From next week on, local wine fans can pop in for a glass of something special every Friday and Saturday evening.
Brian O’Connor, of Brian’s Wines will be curating the drinks menu and there’ll be snacks to enjoy with your vino too.
If you’re not familiar with natural wines, here’s a clip of Brian explaining why you might be missing out:

“Since opening our doors in 2022, we have enjoyed watching all the wonderful interactions, chats, catch-ups and window gazing.” said Revel’s Aisling O’Leary, who runs the business with her husband Forbes Kelly.
“As the months rolled on, we wondered how we could transform the space at Revel for a relaxed evening setting.
“As time slipped past us, we became increasingly busy, both professionally and personally, and so our lives adopted a hunger for time. As I’m sure most of you know; there aren’t enough hours in the day. Thankfully, we have been able to carve out time (and energy) to start the next (little) chapter. A wine bar!”
