Bring your Euro coins (and the kiddos) to help Lap the Lough on Monday

Check behind the sofa for change.
Because this bank holiday Monday, June 2nd, all donations are greatly appreciated as the team behind Lap the Lough attempt to encircle to Cork City walkway with as many Euro coins as possible.
The novel fundraiser, organised by well-known publican Ernest Cantillon and musician Pat Fitz in aid of the Cork City Hospitals Children’s Club, begins at 11am and runs until 2pm, with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck on hand to help Cork kids to place down their coins.

Lap the Lough will attempt to loop the inner circle with coins. The aim? To send seriously ill children to Disneyland Paris for the trip of a lifetime.
“Come along Monday and bring your coin jars to lay down coins and help us close the loop.” said the organisers.
“Every donation will help us build a ring of hope around the lake and bring smiles to even more children’s faces.”
If you can’t make it on the day, kind supporters have already started to donate to the cause over here.
