A Cork attraction is among the top five ‘lucky landmarks’ in Europe

Most of us are already blessed with it in Cork.
But tourists hoping to receive the gift of the gab have placed Cork’s famous Blarney Stone in fourth place on a list of the top ten ‘lucky landmarks’ in Europe.
For centuries, people have sought to boost their fortunes by visiting sites believed to bring good luck, whether tossing coins into fountains or touching centuries-old statues.
Legend has it that kissing the hard-to-reach Blarney Stone (if you’ve never been, you need to hang upside down to do the deed) bestows the gift of eloquence.
