Everyone wants to relocate to these four Cork coastal towns

Maybe you can have it all.
A new report suggests three Cork coastal towns may have the perfect blend of modern lifestyle necessities house hunters are after.
An analysis examining house prices, salaries, climate conditions, connectivity and amenities to determine which Irish coastal towns offer the best relocation prospects has placed Youghal, Cobh and Kinsale in the top five most desirable coastal town for relocation in 2025.
Waterford came in at number one, followed by Youghal, Cobh, Howth and Kinsale. Cork’s Clonakilty also made the top ten, securing the seventh spot.
The study found that Youghal presents a particularly attractive balance of affordability with a €253,000 median house price and a €52,284 median annual salary.
Published by the luggage collection company MyBaggage, the figures highlight the particular appeal of Ireland’s southern coastline, with Cork’s influence evident.
The study authors say this reflects the region’s “growing reputation as Ireland’s premier coastal living destination, offering the perfect blend of natural beauty, economic opportunity, and cultural richness.”
“Waterford leads convincingly as Ireland’s premier coastal relocation destination for 2025. Its first-place ranking in our Coastal Relocation Index demonstrates the perfect balance of affordability, quality of life, and vibrant culture.” says Paul Stewart, CEO of My Baggage.
“With impressive annual sunlight hours, reasonable property prices, and an exceptional culinary scene, Waterford represents the ideal coastal lifestyle for those seeking an authentic Irish experience with modern amenities.”
