Two tasty new sandwiches to jazz up your lunch break today

Good sandwiches are like buses.
You wait all day for one, then two turn up at once.
And if your packed lunch isn’t looking as appealing as it did last night when you wrapped it in tinfoil and flung it into your bag, fear not… a pair of brand new sambos have just been added to the menu at one of Cork city’s busiest bakery.
The Grumpy Bakers on Washington Street just unveiled two new spring sandwiches, a meaty one and a veggie option.
If you’re extra hungry, The Rueben is stacked with Tom Durcan’s famous spiced beef, Hegarty Cheese gruyere, pickles, house mustard mayo and saurkraut.

For something a little lighter, the Caprese involves house wild garlic pesto, wild garlic mayo, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh tomato topped with rocket.
Ideal for grabbing on the run or taking to Fitzgerald’s Park to scoff in the sunshine.
