CORK WEATHER: Milder days from Saturday with sunshine aplenty

The clocks go forward this Sunday.
And Met Éireann says we can expect plenty of sunshine to enjoy during those longer evenings next week.
While today, Friday, will be cool and breezy today with sunshine and fairly widespread showers, some heavy and with the chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms, the showers will ease and become more isolated later in the day.
Highest temperatures will range from eight to 10 degrees.

It will be cloudy tomorrow with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle along with some mist, hill and coastal fog, with temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees, but Sunday will be largely dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells with just a few light showers. Temperatures will inch up again, to between 12 and 16 degrees.
Monday and Tuesday are looking dry with better spells of sunshine likely and highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees:
“Indications are that it will be mostly dry and settled as high pressure continues to dominate our weather through the rest of the working week.” said a forecaster.
