This little storytelling evening might be just what we need to end the week

Looking for a little escape to sweep you into the weekend?
Up on Barrack Street, one cosy coffee shop has just the thing.
IMBAS, an evening of words and connection, returns this Friday, January 17th, inviting folks of all ages and interests inside for some good old fashioned chat and storytelling.
“Join us in a night where creativity pours into the space as we listen to those who have something valuable to share for these times.” the Alchemy crew announced.
“Come and gather to listen to the words, or bring your own poetry, spoken word, stories and song to life in the safe surroundings of this alchemical coffee shop in our open mic.”

Spotlight guest this week is Cork author Denis Cronin, whose new book Of Land and Greed is out now. The novel is a historical fiction set in the rugged hills of West Cork at the turn of the 1900s.
IMBAS is a free evening with optional donation for the space on the night.
