Rumley’s Farm in Waterfall is for sale, with hopes new owners can ‘take it to the next level’

Lots of Cork families have happy memories there.
But the time has come for Rumley’s Open Farm on Liberty Hill in Waterfall to change hands after 14 years, with hopes the attraction can be kept open for future generations of animal-loving children.
The news was announced on the farm’s social media.
“Rumleys would like to truly thank everyone who has supported our Open Farm venture over the years, especially all public and members.” owner Ivan Rumley said in a statement.
“I would like to thank everyone who has helped to build the farm and who has worked here over the past fourteen years. You have made it the success that it became.

“It is with great regret and due to health reasons, that I have decided to put the Open Farm up for sale. Running a busy working farm alongside the Open farm is proving to be too much.
“I think that now is the time for someone new to take over and take it to the next level. Once again, my most sincere appreciation to you all. I hope that you all have a very Happy Christmas.”
