Heading to Mahon Point on Friday?

Munster Lost and Found Pet Helpline volunteers will be manning a craft stall at the shopping centre in a bid to raise some much-needed funds before Christmas.

The organisation is a fully volunteer-run registered animal rescue organisation based in Cork and they never turn away an animal in need of help.

This coming Friday, December 6th, you can swing by their craft stall in Mahon Point from 10am to 8pm and pick up something homemade to help the cause. The table will be stacked with lovely knitted items, doggie Christmas stockings, ornaments, tea cosies and mittens.

“As with all other animal rescues we are operating on very little funds but still trying to rescue, rehome and reunite as many vulnerable animals as we possible can.” volunteer Avril McDonnell told us.

“No animals are turned away and if we cannot help the caller, we certainly go out of our way to offer advice on what they can do.”
