Hop on the ferry for this West Cork island’s delightful Christmas Craft Fair
Last year’s event was a big success.
Now the crafty islanders of Sherkin are hosting another Christmas Craft Fair on the West Cork island this month, offering an opportunity to team a fun day trip with a bit of Christmas shopping.
On Saturday, November 16th and Sunday, November 17th, 2024, you can hop on the ferry and head out across the water to Sherkin, where the event will be hosted in the Community Hall (entry is free).
Located a mere 10-minute walk from the pier and just a stone’s throw away from two beaches- Cow Strand and the Silver Strand you can also enjoy a walk along the sand after a trip to the fair.

There will also be plenty of stocking fillers, baked goods, homemade treats, teas, and coffee with food on both days from 12pm to 5pm.
If you’re looking to make a day and night out of it, the Sherkin North Shore B&B is open and welcoming guests, with camping available too. Head back across the waters to Baltimore Village for a pint or linger a while and head to the Jolly Roger on Sherkin for lunch and a drink or two.
