A handy new Aer Lingus Regional Cork to Glasgow service started today

It’ll run four times weekly all year ’round.
There was Scottish-themed fun at Cork Airport today to celebrate the start of a new service to Glasgow, with fares starting from €34.99.
Exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines on behalf of Aer Lingus Regional, flights will operate on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, catering to both business and leisure customers and providing a direct link between Leeside and Clydeside.
Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city by population and is home to 1.8 million people in the wider metropolitan area. Famous for its vibrant nightlife, impressive architecture, intriguing museums and superb shopping centres, it makes for a great city break destination.

If you want to take it easy, simply wrap up and wander spots such as Ashton Lane (pictured), a cobbled backstreet in the West End of Glasgow noted for its bars, restaurants and cinema. Beyond the city centre, Glasgow is the gateway to some of Scotland’s most scenic regions including the Clyde Valley; Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and Ayrshire and Arran.
In addition to the new Glasgow route, Aer Lingus Regional has increased capacity on its popular Cork – Bristol service by adding three extra flights per week.
“We are delighted to see our new Cork-Glasgow route officially take off!” said Ian Lough, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines.
“Equally, the added capacity on our Cork to Bristol route reflects our continued commitment to meeting the needs of our passengers. These developments give our customers even more choices and show our dedication to providing greater convenience and travel options across our entire network.”
