Sika is a brand new café and wine bar with a sparkly winter wonderland out the back

Planning a date night?
A new café and wine bar in Blarney is open just in time for those festive lunches and Christmas meet-ups and they’ve gone the extra mile to make their outdoor space something special.
Nestled right on Blarney Square, Sika Café and Wine Bar boasts a menu that’ll tantalise your taste buds alongside a haven of cosy tables and a show-stopping outdoor space. Think warm, rainproof bliss, festooned with twinkly lights and adorable woodland creatures.

No matter what time of the day or night you want to visit, Sika has got you covered; they’re doing shakshuka and stacks of American pancakes for breakfast, all the brunch favourites, smash burgers for lunch and dinner and small plates to enjoy with a good glass of wine from their thoughtful wine list on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
They also do a whopper charcuterie board (ideal for sharing over drinks) an excellent chowder, a tasty fish and chips and a mean broccoli and feta salad with roasted seasoned broccoli, crumbled feta, toasted almonds, roasted peppers, mixed leaves, and signature house dressing.

Naturally, there’s a famous Cork Spice Beef Sandwich on the menu to impress all the visiting tourists, but locals find it hard to resist the Gubeen cheese, gherkin, spiced beef, rocket, and honey mustard mayo sambo themselves.
There’s a ‘Gift of the Gab’ toastie too, inspired by the iconic Blarney Stone just down the road and the restaurant is dog-friendly so it’s the perfect excuse for a stroll along the Waterloo Trail followed by a long lunch.
